__________________________________________
The CCC Ethnic Studies Faculty Council has organized its state area representation around the ASCCC four area groupings A, B, C, D (two in the North and two in the South). Each area will elect its own Area Representative who serves for two years on the Area CCCESFC Committee; all areas will elect two at-large representatives. The Area Representatives will be responsible for coordinating two area meetings (one fall and one spring) per year.
Until further notice, these meetings will be held virtually as hosted by one of the colleges in that area. The meetings provide a platform to discuss matters around the establishment and concerns related to the maintenance and expansion of Ethnic Studies disciplines, departments, programs and courses within their various areas. Area discussions will also develop and review proposed resolutions to be voted on at these sessions. These council delegates represent Ethnic Studies faculty from these local areas to gather information to report back to their respective area departments and programs.
Requests for additional information should be forwarded to the CCC Ethnic Studies Faculty Council [email protected].
NOTE: The CCC Ethnic Studies Faculty Council uses the same ASCCC mapping and area grouping to determine institutional area assignment within the state.
